An AME is a person authorized to maintain and certify fitness and airworthiness of an aircraft. To undertake such kind of maintenance work on any aircraft an AME is issued licenses by the DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF CIVIL AVIATON (DGCA) Govt. of India.
